The second half of a course which provides education in emergency care and advanced life support techniques for the sick and injured. This course is in a series which prepares the student for competent practice as a entry-level paramedic. Course includes didactic skills laboratory, and practical experiences. Topics this semester include: cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, endocrinology, toxicology, and trauma assessment and treatment. Prerequisite: EMS 201 and EMS 202; minimum grade C Corequisite: EMS 211.
